Baby Mary was reborn from a soft vinyl Sugar kit
sculpted by the very talented artist Donna Rubert. Her sculpts are becoming increasingly popular, and are a joy to work with.
Baby Mary has 3/4 soft vinyl arms and full legs that have been weighted with small glass beads and premium polyfill.
She has been carefully painted in thin layers using Genesis heat set paints, they will not rub off or fade.
Her skin has slight mottling and blue undertones, and subtle veining. She has a jointed, high quality
doe-suede body that has been weighted with enclosed glass beads and premium soft polyfill to make
her ever so cuddly! Her head has also been weighted with enclosed glass beads and polyfill and needs support like a real infants
does. Her head can be gently turned she has a neckring that makes turning her head easy.
Mary has hand-painted
hair in shades of brown. She has hand painted eyebrows and her nose was opened and backed with dark felt
for depth. Her lips were painted in many layers of genesis paints and slightly glossed. Her nails were painted
a pale baby pink, then tipped with genesis off-white paint to give her nails a transparent, natural look, then they were given
a bit of gloss. She has light brown hand-rooted eyelashes that were sealed from the inside of her head with a water-proof
adhesive.
Baby Mary has a magnetic pacifier, please do not use around pacemakers.
Baby Mary is 19 inches
long with slightly bent knees and weighs 4 lbs., 4 ozs. She can wear size newborn clothing. |
