Baby Alicia was reborn from the Paris sculpt unpainted vinyl kit by the very talented artist Adrie-Stoete Schuitman. She has 3/4 vinyl limbs that have been painted with genesis heat set paints in many layers to give her a very realistic newborn mottled complexion.
she has veining in the appropriate areas and has been blushed in all the right places. I gave her blue glass eyes, handpainted eyebrows,and wispy light brown eyelashes. She has a jointed doe-suede body that has been carefully weighted to make her seem like a real newborn, with the need to hold her little head. She has been weighted with enclosed tiny glass beads and premium polyfluff, the best I can get. Her nails have been painted baby pink and have been manicured with genesis paints and sealed with a light gloss. Her nose has been opened and backed with dark felt. I decided to make this little baby girl a baldie, her head has been carefully painted in layers to look like a newborn's head would with mottling and subtle veining. Baby Alicia is about 21 1/2 inches long with bent knees, and weighs about 5lbs, 2 ozs. She can wear size 0-3 months and some newborn clothing, it just depends on the brand of clothing.
